Volvo - The Game is a sophisticated auto-racing simulation for Windows. Car races may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Volvo. Nonetheless, this racing game lets you drive six different vehicles from the renowned Swedish automaker. It features online and offline modes with several difficulty adjustments.

When you start a race, Volvo - The Game lets you select the number of laps and how many cars you want to race against. A percentage-based setting determines how well the computer-controlled drivers perform. You can also decide what types of brakes and transmission to use. This simulation gives players the option to race on one of two tracks.

One choice is Gothenburg, Sweden's Eco Drive Arena. As its name indicates, this urban racetrack requires all racing vehicles to use relatively eco-friendly fuels. A lap is slightly more than one mile long. The arena can hold an audience of up to 30,000 people. It began operating in 2008, and it continues to host a variety of auto races.

The other racetrack option in Volvo - The Game is Chaika. This simulation's developer boasts that no other racing program features this track. The lesser-known car and motorcycle circuit is located near Ukraine's capital, according to E-Tracks. It is almost 2.8 miles long and was established by the Soviet Union during the 1970s.

You may choose to drive a recent or classic Volvo in this simulation. The available models include the S60, C30, S40, 240 Turbo and 850.
